Moving Items Between Storage

In port, I bought some AP rounds for the flak gun. I put them in regular storage, but then noticed there was a dedicated "Flak" storage. How do I move the ammo in regular storage over to flak storage?

Assign an officer to move it over. But the gun storages can only hold so many rounds even if it looks like there's some empty slots.

Thanks, it seems that if I click on the main storage area inside the boat, it gives me the ability to show two storage areas on the screen at the same time, and then I can transfer from one to the other. I manage to discover it in the last hour of play.

Thanks for the note on capacity as well. I do see there is a limit to the total volume of each area that is independent of vacant slots.
