Storage Boxes on top of Uboot

Recently the game has started becoming extremely slow/stuttery when i place a recovered storage crate on deck and access it with officer for transfer to storage below. The item in the box (bacon or potatoes or whatever) is usually at the VERY end of a super long list that takes forever to scroll thru. Anyone else notice this probelm or suggest a fix? Is there a cache to flush somewhere? I use the food i find to plus up my rep by giving it to lifeboots of the ships i sink.

I removed mods to check for improvement and there was none.

Also would like to add that loading times have become longer than i recall in the past.

I have exactly the same problems. I also found more problems. I thought of deleting this game.

I believe the good far outweigh the bads in this simulator. I still get great joy at smacking a destroyer down at the last second or sinking an escort carrier.

Re: this particular bug. My workaround has become to use an earned milk cow to load up on food to give to survivors to increase rep points. Basically maxed out on everything now so I dont bother with the storage boxes any more.

I am also having the problem of getting the VERY long list of empty slots in crates I place on deck; the game now freezes for around 30 seconds when I go to open one. I also have an occasional problem where when I hold Alt to see the crates on the map, there are no crates at the marks. The marks themselves are bugged and will move around while I move and zoom in/out. Has anyone found a fix for either of these problems?
