Understand coordinates to help an ally
Hi

I'm a new player to the game, kudos to the creators by the way, I'm enjoying it.

I'm kind of new, as I said and I'm having problems to understand the coordinates head quarters send me to help an uboat.

It said:

"56 64N 2, 67E"

I know this probably sounds silly but Im not into this kind of numbers, could you help me to understand?

Thanks

They’re giving you the Latitude and Longitude of a particular location. In Map view as you move your cursor around you should see similar numbers in the top right area (I believe).

56.64N is your latitude (56 degrees north of the Equator) and 2.67E is your Longitude (2 degrees east of the Prime Meridian, which is a vertical line running through England). Your coordinates are probably in the N Sea somewhere.

Thank you so much!

If you don't mind I have a second question.

I'm watching a Youtube tutorial where the player, goes to periscope depth, and using hidropohne listen a boat approaching. In the video, the sound quicky is translated to a like a boat icon. With that, the player uses the tools on the map to trace a possible path and have to just wait until the boat crosses the T of the uboat.

In my game, I'm doing the same. The officials listen the boat and I have two blue signs. One is the helix of the boat but In my game, this no convert into boat icon. So I just have a cone, a blue cone.

This should be enough to do the "math" with the tools and preparate to torpedo the merchant?

Also I have to say the video tutorial is with sun light, in my game I'm in the middle of the night.

Thanks again

Your example didn't sound right...I looked it up and the standard way of showing lat and long is that (lat/long). Lat is east/west lines and Long are north/south. Zero lat is the equartor and zero long is Greenwich England
