Norweigian Campaign Mission (Am I missing a date)
So I just had the Campaign missions pop for this but if I accept it right away I have to wait for 22 days before the ships leave. Is there anywhere that mentions a date so I dont accept and miss out on a month of other patrols?

You can check the campaign tab in the drop down menu in the upper right corner for the expiry dates of every campaign, or zoom out in map view to click on all the campaign pictures

Missions won’t start unless you accept them first

What I mean is there a date for the start of the mission. Im in March right now and if I accept the mission I have to sit in port for 22 days waiting on the ships to depart

I know that you have to finish the 3 missions by June from looking at the tab on the map like your talking about. Thanks for clarifying that but this is a start date not end.

Having to wait for 20+ days before FIRST escort mission is normal. There is no way of checking the exact date of convoy departure prior to accepting the first escort mission however. Personally, I either send my crew on vacation before accepting this mission or spend my reputation points on shuffling the mission pool to get two regular patrols counting for Norwegian campaign before April 1940. I prefer the second option as Norwegian campaign requires SIX patrols to be completed and the time window is might be somehow narrow, given you might want to have some vacation or install heavy upgrades on your boat.

Thanks Harrison, I ended up just running a spy insertion mission which put me back in port about 20 days later. When I accepted the escort when back in port I got to leave right away for the mission.

The first mission becomes available at the 5th of March, but they won't start before the 3rd of April (not sure about the exact date here anymore). So if you pick the mission anytime in that window you'll always have to wait for it to actually start.

Afterwards you need to do 5 additional missions to complete the entire campaign. If you only do patrols in the North Sea and find something to sink quickly, you can complete the entire thing in mid May.

Just encountered this and thought it was a bug. The game does a very poor job explaining it since the mission instructions specifically state how the convoy will leave right after accepting the mission so be ready and then bam, nope we lied you gotta sit there in port and wonder if it's a bug and your convoy is actually sailing on without you so you're going to fail the mission. lol. They really either should delay the date you can accept the mission or else give info on what'll happen if you accept before the convoys actually sail.
