In earlier versions you could even change difficulty settings this way. The options would just bleed into your game from another savegame. Maybe they didn't fix the bleeding for these values at the same time.
Has anyone confirmed seeing the toilet upgrade actually change the values? If so, any idea on how to fix my save?
I make a new save when I save the game and delete old saves when there are more than like 15 in the queue. Half the time I take the default name, the other half I custom name the saves.
I noticed the -17 on my regular game, thought it looked similar to what I was noticing before the upgrade, so I did the depth testing to find the values on my regular game state.
Then I loaded a save that I have at the start of the campaign and tested the values and got the same result.
Then I made a new start and tested and got the same result.
Has anyone ever seen the values change from the ones I posted? In the datasheets seems like it says it should be * 75% so should be seeing -13ish etc.
I am still getting the same exact values as not having the upgrade installed.
Unless anyone has any other information, I'm going to just assume that the upgrade is not implemented correctly. I have yet to see any proof that the upgrade does anything, no screenshots or videos. Luckily it's only it's only a 25% decrease but more concerning it erodes my confidence in the upgrade system doing anything.
IIRC when I installed the first battery upgrade the bar seemed to go down by roughly what seems to be the correct amount based on the .xlsx
Though I'm about to do some testing with engine rates and time to depletion to check.
So it seems to work at least.
Anyone have any idea how I can modify the game files to make it so the toilet upgrade actually scales discipline loss at depth to 75%
Does anyone have any screen-shots or videos of the toilet upgrade ever doing anything? I've heard that removing the deck gun also does nothing and that the "cold zone" comment in the in game tips is also not real?
Any other things that aren't actually implemented at the moment?
