Resupply at neutral ports?

Basically just what the title says. Is it possible to resupply at a neutral port like the ones in Spain and Portugal? I'm currently doing a mission near Africa and my tanks are already past the half way point, meaning i won't make it back. i also haven't unlocked a Milk Cow yet, so I can't call that to me either.

So can I resupply at ports like Vigo or Lisabon or will I have to test my engineers skill and go back to France?

No, it's not possible to resupply at neutral ports.

If fuel is a concern make sure you slow down to Forward Speed 1 and set both your leaders to the 'chief boatswain' preset so that they'll prioritize navigation over observation. This, plus the two assistants on the engines should help you achieve a 50% fuel bonus on top of the very economic fuel usage of Forward Speed 1.

Also don't forget that - for the moment at least - charging your batteries has no fuel or speed penalty. So if you need to eke it out further you can switch to electric engines on the surface and run until the battery is flat, then switch back to diesel and keep going while the batteries recharge, rinse & repeat.

You cannot. Vigo has no port, there is no asset for it, its coming soon. Also, Vigo is a neutral port, thus it is not possible.

has this been changed at all?
i'm assuming it hasn't, since i just went to Vigo in october 1939, assuming i could resupply there, but there doesn't seem to be the option to dock. unless i'm missing something.

You still cannot resupply in any neutral port.

Just to add to this note also you will need to run at speed #3 to charge. unless you turn of the Compass. So you do need to run at a good speed to charge.
There is a sit stationary and charge setting which works well though.

Historically you could only dock at neutral ports for 24 or 48 hours for repairs and once the time was up you had to leave or be interned for the rest of the war. Look at the Graf Spree; battle of the river plate.

I wonder if local politics could play a factor, Spain was neutral, but there was a good deal of sympathy towards Germany. Plus with Hitler pressuring Spain to join the war, I could see them relaxing the rules a bit just to prevent any fallout.

Wow, I think this is a run ender then. I am almost out of food, can't find supply ships, so I went to Vigo since it said "German U-boat supply base in Spain."

If you run out of food, you crew gets sick but you can actually keep playing. Just head back home, you'll be fine.

Yeah, I managed okay. Still you should def be able to resupply in ports like Spain, at least for a period of time before Spain pulls out.
