Gold Retaking Mission

2024.1 Patch 15. No mods installed.

I'm attempting the Gold Retaking mission. I arrived on the surface at the specified waypoint and found wreckage floating on the surface. However, there is no sunken ship or an option to send a diver to it to recover the gold. Tried a search pattern, too, but didn't see an option to send a diver. Where is the ship?

Usually there are two interactions near the floating wreckage - first is for the wreckage itself and the second is for the ship's wreck on the seabed. You should be able to send a diver using that second interaction.

If this doesn't show up, we would appreciate, if you would drop us a bug report with a saved game state (the bug reporting tool is assigned to F11 by default).

Thank you. I submitted a bug report for this yesterday as you suggested. After installing the rolled back patch released today, the second interaction with the ship itself became available.

I am stuck on it. I have tried reloading, checking game files, and heading back to port. I was able to pickup the floating wreckage, but there's no option to dive. I submitted a ticket.

I have the same issue, any workaround yet?

Do you have the diving suit? Maybe it doesn't prompt you if you do not. This one worked OK for me.

I arrived, sent diver down, then suddenly he is no longer on my crew. No idea where he went. Returned to port, engaged another officer, and obtained new diving suit. Selected the mission and sailed back to green point, but not triggering the message to send the diver.
