Depth Charge Explosions

I'm getting some purple missing textures with underwater depth charge explosions. Anybody else or am I the lone wolf?

Do they go right away? I did experience twice some artifacts but I could not make them repeat so I did not report them.

It's like a wall of purple where the explosion should be...I can spot a bit of purple on the map view, as well, when depth charges go off. Settings don't seem to matter...medium to extreme.

Well within specs...I run UBoat at extreme.

From my experience with Nifskope and Skyrim...purple simply means a texture is missing rather than a performance issue.

Verify your game files through Steam, you might have some corrupt or missing files.

how does anyone see the explosions?..i could not the last time i played..something changed?

File verification shows everything is there.

As for seeing underwater explosions...zoom out while submerged. On the map view, if you zoom-in close enough to see the ships, you can see them explode there, as well.

Seeing the underwater depth charges has always been in the game.
Switch to side view and zoom out the camera while panning around.

Sometimes (but only now and then) I get the same but on surface. And the triggering mechanism was depth charging (from airplane in latest case).
