Testing my new type VIIC/41
I tried to test the crunch depth of my new VIIC/41 submarine.

The maximum depth that you can order in the depth control (Tiefenmesser) is 285 m. I arrived to this depth. No leaks, no breaks, only a yellow icon noticing that we are in a dangerous detpth (it apears at 220 m). It was imposible to crunch it.

And max speed 10kn.

All good in my new Uboot!!

I sugest to developers change the range of the depth control depending of submarine type. Then, we will profit at maximum the performances of every Uboat.

What you need is manual diveplane controls.

And to be able to operate them with the Honeycomb Alpha! YESSS!!!*

*No. All you see is the wall and a couple of dials. Would not be fun. But it would help to amortize the cost of the Alpha.

With manual diveplane controls, and the ability to adjust your trim, this game would be well beyond anything that's ever come before it.

I don't know, Cold Waters offers manual dive plane and ballast control. Granted that's more arcade-like than sim.

Uboat already has rudder control, I don't see why manual dive plane would be an issue

Manual dive planes please. And random crushdepth intervall.

This would be amazing definitely.

I’m not sure if things have changed recently but last time I dived to destruction I just clicked on the bottom of the depth gauge in the white area. The boat kept going down past the last figure on the dial. Try it.

Currently in the game there is no time for technical inspection of a submarine after it has been bombed? If it depended on the condition of the submarine. It wasn't bad.
