how to reset depth meter & rudder HUD position?

I once accidentally dragged them out, but I don't know how to reset their position

I’ve had instances when ALL the dials etc just disappear. I have to save the game, exit, and reload to get it all back.
Is there anything better I can do?

Depends on the cause, though the game uses a kind of constant cache system that doesn't properly get cleared when loading saves whilst already playing a campaign, so if you're save scumming a lot I've seen a few posts talking about how things can get pretty wonky with the UI and the state the game thinks your boat is in.

Only solution from what I've read when that happens is to exit the game and relaunch it.
