I arrive there. They come but don t stop (maybe a bug?). Still, I manage to go after them and send a team , they give me a crate. After that nothing. Its bugged?

I don t see the crate in the sub's inventory neither.

I haven't gotten that far, but is it sitting on the rear decking, like when you salvage supplies from a sunken ship?

Where was the rendezvous out of curiosity?

was the crate not just on top of your sub on the deck? If you cannot complete just go back to your dock and you can cancel the current orders

nop. i checked. nothing. also nothing after that. no "leave the area". Its strange that the sub does' not stop in the square. It moves on even after meeting with you. i had to follow it to interact.


Maybe a dev' to clarify? What its going on?

I did this one tonight. The Japanese sub was cruising around in the designated square. Pulled alongside and matched his speed and sent a delegation. Two clicks later it said something 'so we'll be off then'. Clicked that and mission success.

We received no crate, but before leaving port were required to clear enough storage space for three crates to take with us which got auto-loaded like mines do when the space emptied. There were two passengers I guess along with us, portraits were there alongside the officers, but I didn't interact with them.

It all went without a hitch and was over in a few minutes. Loved the Japanese sub too.

They were nice enough to do most of the work, sailing half way around the world, as the rendezvous was in DG grid, about 600 km south of the Azores. There was a time limit to meet of two weeks, and we made that with days to spare at ahead standard in the VIIC/41 U-292 out of La Rochelle. Cut back to one-engine since we were running ahead and I didn't know that the other submarine would already be waiting.

It just occurred to me that the OP isn't talking about the mission, but an event, from a radio message? If so kindly disregard.

same happened to me today. I do wonder after dbond1 comment, if i didn't have enough storage space open to receive more than several items. i had three cargo slots open so i don't think that's it.

The dialogue suggests a single box. Nothing ever gets placed anywhere though. On deck, in storage locker/ship cargo, not on any of the men, nada. I reloaded the save at least a dozen times to try and troubleshoot a way to get it to complete.

It just completes dialogue, says their men carry the cargo box over, and then they leave. The mission item to rendevous with the ship never goes away, until time expires anyway
