Type IXA/IXB submarines

Dear game developers! I don’t know if they read our discussions, but I, like many other players, miss the Type IX submarine. The game seems incomplete without a Type IX submarine.
Type IXA/IXB submarines have been in use since 1939. If the developers release DLC with these boats, we will gladly buy it.

Great info, I am sure the devs did not know that. After +5 years, strange you are the first to write anything about the Type IX boats. But now that you did, I am sure they will be included in the game very soon. Thank you.

They do read the forums. They did say they plan to have the IX. What model is unknown

This is just my opinion, like many others. Honestly, in 5 years you can build a real cruiser, not like a pixelated submarine. It's strange that they made type II, and not type IX, which would have been more logical.

on the other hand, if we don’t remind and write to developers about this, then it doesn’t matter to us. But that's not true.

They explained they will work on the IX later because of its size, inside and out. The II is smaller so they can work on it

Sure, everyone wants the IX. Every single one. And its brought up all the time. And the devs do read the forum. And they have said before IX will be payed dlc. But thats a long time ago, so lets hope some news will come soon now that the game is relesed in 1.0 :)

Type II are smaller and easier to make, and this game is made with a small team, so thing takes time. But I do hope the inclusion of the type 2 is a good indication for more subs in the future.
