Achievement Issues

I got some achievement issues boys. I already sunk like a dozen HMS Nelsons plus a dozen fully armed convoys without any help from friendly uboats. But the battleship hunter and what convoy achievements still locked.

I am wondering regarding the Convoy? What convoy? achievement too. Did you sink all the escorts too?

Man I literally sank like 24 Nelsons and 1 HMS Royal Oak in the last career. The only place where you can find BBs on the move is those battleships task forces, talking about 1 BB and possibly 4 to 6 escorts. Sometimes I sank the BB and got away, sometimes I had to sink everybody. Still I haven't got that achievement.
As for the What Convoy, I ran 71 combat patrols in one career and destroyed god knows how many armed convoys and literally every ship in them. I even wondered if the words "single handed" means you have to let only one man do the job then I let the captain himself do all the torpedo calculations and use the 88. Still nothing happend.

Same here - encountered a convoy of 10 ships in the western Celtic Sea consisting of 4 escorts and 6 freighters. After sinking the escorts, I had to hunt down the semi-scattered freighters one by one.

The 'What Convoy?' achievement did not activate. I thought it might have been due to the Argentinian freighter among them, but perhaps I was mistaken if others have run into the same issue..

i sunk a convoy of 25+ ships and didn't get it

I am having issues with this achievement still. A look through the patch notes says that this achievement was unobtainable and was fixed yet after sinking who knows how many convoys I still havent gotten it. I even had a sneaking suspicion that the achievement might only trigger if at least 10 merchant ships were sunk and not merchants and escorts total. Despite deliberately counting the merchant ships beforehand and after in the mission report: no achievement. I even got the pay bonus for getting the whole convoy so I know I didnt miss any ships.

A bit of an extra note that might disable the achievement, I somehow doubt you can save and reload for the convoy one. It might be stored in the save state of course but I seriously doubt it.

Sunk 14 freighters, 1 tanker, 1 corvette, and 1 destroyer.

As i was getting into position to attack a large convoy the ships started weaving around. Apparently another uboat tried attacking. The destroyers peeled off to go after the other uboat, and ended up far behind the convoy (eventually sinking it). I raced in and destroyed several ships, then peeled off when i saw escorts returning.

Apparently most of the escorts got too far behind, because only 2 rejoined the convoy and the others sailed off in a different direction.

I got back out in front of the convoy and went back in and sank the two escorts. Then lit up the remaining freighters.

no cheevo. I am disappoint.

My question is.. was it because of the other uboat i didn't get it? Or because i didn't sink the other escorts that left? No merchant ships survived.

I have the "What Convoy" achievement and I got it by sinking a convoy with 10 freighters/tankers, and 1 escort literally just as they were exiting a port. I have not been able to get the Battleship Hunter achievement yet though, and people have said in other posts that it doesn't seem possible to get it at the moment.

was the escort first ship sunk i would gess you sunk it first then the rest of the ships if you sunk it last that would be good to know then it poped up because that would mean you need to skin the escorts too

I don't remember all the details, only that the convoy was almost the bare minimum number of freighters/tankers for the achievement- either 10 or 12. I started by opening fire on the tanker/ big targets, and then surfaced to destroy the escort (either 1 or 2 escorts, I don't remember) with my deck gun. A few of the ships in the convoy scattered, and one even got stuck on a beach (I engaged right outside a port). Once I tracked down where the last freighter in the convoy was, and then sunk it- I was given the achievement.

i just sunk 5 escorts and 8 freighters did not get it so it has to be 10 freighters but dont know if you have to kill the escorts but you might have to ......... aaaaaa

I cleared the achievement today. Here's some info if you need a reference:

May 1943. Convoy spotted at AM3952 (Straight of Scapa Flow). Followed and engaged convoy at AM3931. Merchants: 11 (8 x N-A1, 3 x Bell Explorer), Escorts: 4 (1 x Hunt Destroyer, 3 x Flower Class Corvettes).

Cheevo popped after sinking last freighter.

i spent 2 h killing 14 merchants uggg and did not pop but did not kill the escorts wich there where 5 3 destroyer and 2 corvettes and so i am, guessing you need to kill the escorts too so you have to kill 10 freighters and any escorts too and thanks for posting soulshock i wish they would tell us more in the achievements so we dont have to mess around
