Refueling in friendly ports

Can I somehow refuel (or even get some proviant, ammo, torps) in any friendly german port? I entered one, but didn't see any options for that.
Or I only can do this in my base port?

You should be able to dock at friendly, non-home ports. But similar to your home port you need to find the proper dock spot to enter, I believe.

If you try Helgoland, for instance, you have to look around the sub bunker to find the resupply icons. I've even picked up extra crew from Helgoland when I lost a sailor.

A good idea in non-home ports is to buy up all the torpedos you like to have e.g. T1s in early game.

Often the supply in your home port will run short of the desired torepdo versions especially if you use many of them during your patrols. Restocking in friendly ports will provide you with another bunch of the better versions.
