Wilhelmshaven iced in?

I cannot exit the dock in Wilhelmshaven as it appears to have been iced in. I've tried ramming the ice, shooting it, and going under it - but the ice goes all the way to the bottom. I don't have any favours available to move to a different port, and I tried sending the crew on a three-week vacation, hoping the ice would melt but alas it is still there. I can see no way of progressing at this point - is my campaign doomed?

I'm in the same position. I've passed the time using x48 speed, and also in 5:33 increments by getting new paint jobs at dock. I've done this religiously for the past 2 months IRL (5-10 IRL minutes a few days a week) and I've reached March 22, 1940. Wilhelmshaven is still frozen in. I checked the latitude of Wilhelmshaven and compared it to my native SLC, UT and it's a bit further north. Our waters thaw by early April. That said, we're at 4500 ft above sea level. Wilhelmshaven is at zero. I hope to see it thaw within the next 10 days in-game. Will update as able.

This looks more like patch of land appeared and not like ice. There have been many cases of harbor buildings (or more like the entire harbor) spawning in a wrong location e.g. La Spezia Docks spawning in La Rochelle. Maybe something similar happened here though I remember that bug getting fixed along the way.

this does indeed look like the dock shifted, to my knowledge, there is no solid ice in the game. if you want to continue your playthrough, id advise turning the command console back on, and rebasing yourself to another port.

Does ice in the water even exist ingame? Like if you're based in Bergen ?
