types of torpedos
Is there a way to get more t5 or any specific torpedoes in the shop? I only ever get 1 or 2 at a time but i didn't know if there's an hq upgrade or a mod that can increase that amount

You don't want too many T5s, but you can pass time and allow the warehouse to restock via vacations or upgrades or un/loading the boat's supplies and torpedoes.

It's tedious but if you check recheck when time passes he often has new torpedo inventory.

Cheesy as hell but I always buy whatever torps I want, stop and load those (pass time), recheck... if nothing else I'll buy food next, load... recheck. Then anything else, etc.

Sometimes I'll buy torps one at a time just to get new inventory after every load. It's so cheesy but hey it's how the game is designed currently.

Highlight one in the shop and look at the tooltip at the bottom. If it scrolls down, highlight a torp and be careful about moving your mouse down there to scroll it for full info.

P1 are steam torpedoes
P2 are 1st gen electrics
P3 are 2nd gen electrics
P5 are acoustic homing

Those are torpedo types, with "T". He is asking about the pistols.

The pistols (detonators) are just upgraded versions, introduced to correct faults (deep running, faulty impact or magnetic pistol, etc) or for other reasons (ease of manufacture, cost, improved design, etc). The later or higher the number, the more reliable it should be.

T for type, P for pistol. T1 is a steam torpedo, Pi1 is the first generation of pistol for that torpedo and wasn't very reliable and needed a solid hit to detonate (and on it's magnetic setting could randomly detonate as soon as the torpedo armed).

Yeah oops I was phoneposting.

The left (T) code is the type, the right is the pistol. Above list is for left.
Again, just look at the tooltip at the bottom.
