Report a translation problem
I can imagine not bothering with adding a model version for an upgrade that didn't happen.
Of course, going from !!a to IIb is its own upgrade.
As much as I enjoy the setting and game-play here, there really needs to be better information presented to us in game for things like this; twice now I have wasted research on things I cannot yet use, due only to lack of information. Is it so hard to add a little blurb to a piece of tech along the lines of "Only available for x-model" or something.
Guess I will have to search outside of the game before making more mistakes like this.
