Food consumption doesn't appear to actually be depleting my food supplies in latest beta

Now I could be mistaken, perhaps the rate of usage has simply been decreased significantly, but I'm a couple months in and I feel like I still have the stocks I bought when I started.

Is this known?

Works for me, they definitely eat the bread, canned bread, and potatoes that I got for free.

I don't know, when I went to Labrador recently, food was my main concern, not fuel. And if it weren’t for the milky cow placed by the Azores, I would not have been able to reach the base; the sailors were eating like crazy.
