How am I supposed to fight other submarines?

I just started an escort mission for the Norwegian campaign and soon after exiting port I'm confronted with an enemy Submarine, how am I supposed to fight it? I have my deck gun removed for increased stealth and my torpedoes just don't connect.

I have never seen an enemy submarine. I have only seen other Type VII subs. so I have no idea how to fight one.

me either. I HAVE had German vessels show as enemy after accidentally shooting one with my deck gun. But to my knowledge, there no UK French or other Ally subs modeled in the game.

Enemy submarines don't exist in vanilla. You have a "Mod issue".

Personally, I would love to see enemy subs in the game. There are plenty of friendly subs, which are really cool because I have been able to coordinate my attack on a convoy at the same time they do, making the enemy surface ships go wild mad and don't know where to go!

Maybe its German sub that turned hostile after shooting or crash into friendlies at port by accident?

There should be British subs at least. but we will have to wait and see if they ever get added.

I have never encounter enemy subs. As far as I know, there's only one type modeled in the game, VIIIC. Which means enemy subs would also have to be VIIIC's. This only happens if you attack a friendly vessel, in which case the entire German navy becomes your enemy.

LOL i modded this game a while ago didnt even know i had some mod that adds enemy subs...Sorry!
