is it even possible to dock in spanish port of Vigo?

im chilling here in the port and.... idk, nothing happens. the tooltip on the map for Vigo says its a german uboat supply base, and on the internet i read that IRL it was a secret kept from the allies until 1944 because of spain's "neutrality". soooo... anybody know if you can resupply here? at least get fuel or something?

Nope, you can't. Just like any other neutral port it isn't possible to dock or otherwise get supplies.

that's really dumb. i understand for other neutral ports but for Vigo specifically it doesn't make sense. there was a secret agreement between spain and the german reich that allowed for resupply and repair, if even only in a limited fashion, of german uboats in spanish ports. devs should change this :D

I sank a Spanish flagged freighter. It was sailing in convoy under the protection of British warships. Probably a British merchant ship flying a fake flag but funny nonetheless.

i had the same thing but it was portugese, and it wasnt in a convoy it was alone. but yeah, inspected it and discovered it was actually british with false flag. i like this kind of flavor added to the game, gives reasons to go inspect ships instead of just sinking everything you see.
