Try to get a good Saved Game near a Convoy to practice with.
Also, I’ve added quite a few escorts to each convoy.
This allows me two opportunities here, practice with the TDC, and evade these escorts playing on Hard.
So far, the escorts have found me every time.

Thanks, I'll Watch It !
I can turn all of the dials to match Speed, AOB, and distance.
But, where do I lock in those changes ?
Also, firing from the periscope is a lot more convenient, so what’s the point of firing from anywhere else ?
Yes you can enter manually. changes are tied to the periscope with the right hand lever. No need to "lock" the target "eww lock yuck". just set the info in the proper order. put the lever down (blue light off). point and shoot.
Your periscope might be broken irl. or give away your position. or you want to travel above 5kns underwater irl.
Also, its fun.
Also, you might hate the gameplay concept of "locking" eww a target
So the Level has to be up before I turn any of the dials.
Is the Order the same as the Periscope View - Speed, AOB, Distance ?
Also, how do I select the target ship from that view , or do I just input the targets length from the knob.
Thanks.
target speed
aob
range
you can have the lever down (connected to periscope) and enter the info. all it means is that where the periscope is pointing is where it is set to.
You can be either locked on or not to enter the info. Lock on just means the periscope will automatically follow center mass of the moving target
You only need target length for a salvo. My recommendation is dont bother with that. Salvo is for hitting once on bad data. If you wanna hits different points of the ship just unlock and aim at each point and fire
I’ll try this when I get back home.
I spent hours yesterday trying every different combinations of those dials , and missed every time.
I didn’t change the Torpedo Speed first, or stay in that exact order.
The in game one works exactly the same
