Really? Is this always a thing or new?
As far i understood/expierenced diversity of food only gives a morale boost, i never had any sickness on board.
But 4 different food types in the galley does keep the morale higher as with just one food type, but how much it really influences, that i cannot really answer with numbers, only that morale doesn't drop to a point its concerning, and they keep it longer too under stress (but eventually it drops too ofc)
In the galley: 100 preserved pork
In storage: 19 dried fish, 2 preserved pork, 75 vegetables
I'm told this is good for 16 days.
If I add up all the units, that means consumption is 11-ish per day
Crew size is 25 with 5 officers included.
Once I had a mission to deliver fruits to the other sub. I like to believe that they need vitamins and I always buy fruits and vegetables.
And evry 10 days or so I check the gally, because the AI wont fill it up properly, they just put the first stack in the inventory in the galley and you lose the moral boost. But usually if you stock that amount of food your fuel runs out long before your food does.
