VIIB vs VIIC

Is there any point, in your mind, to go from a type VIIB to a type VIIC?
As far as I can tell, the only difference is the newer TDC but does it really have a measurable advantage over the older TDC, in this game that is, I'm not talking about irl.

From what I understand, the historical difference between the B and C were mainly tha C had more sensors (and was slightly bigger because of this) including active sonar but that is not a thing in this game, yet at least.

Yep S3 has AOB tracking which the C/37 does not, and can be fired when turning.
This is a huge upgrade
Anything true for the historical tdcs is true for Uboat's.

IRL the difference was slightly more speed and range according to uboat.net

Underwater range as well, and it is 10 nm difference which is quite large actually

Crush depth should be increasing going from type B to C to C/41.

VIIC is better, Faster Diving, If im correct Bigger Fuel tank, better hydrophone, Faster engine?, prolly have others things

Typ VII B was the fastest Type VII.
