Tutorial broken... again...

Dear Developers,

A complex games tutorial is the gate for new players to enjoy your product and not refund it before 2 hours are up.

You are already in the beta phase and the most crucial part is not working properly, frustrating and a gamble as far as completion goes.

Here are some points that happen to a new player with no knowledge about your game:

When starting the first tutorial mission you are told that you should, among other things, load AT LEAST one torpedo. But if you load one, you are being forced move on and to leave the next "choose your tutorial mission" Screen to go back and refill the other two because YOU NEED THEM for the next missions.

On the third tutorial mission, you want to teach players how to attack an enemy vessel and about the crew. YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THE WEATHERCONDITIONS MAKE THAT POSSIBLE. High waves, choppy water, FOG???? with a starter uboat make it impossible to do what you want to do since you cannot hold a plane yet, can't see far in fog and the hydrophone only really work in depths lower than periscope-depth because of THE HUGE WAVES.

Even if you try a more advanced approach (which a new player can't possibly know), and try to torpedo the enemy while surfaced so you at least have a chance of seeing the vessel through the fog, the game tells you to flood AT LEAST 1 torpedo tube.

After flooding One, two or three at once, the tutorial simply refuses to move on. You are stuck there with no way to proceed.

If that stuff happens, people will get fed up real quick so please...

Put down whatever you are working on, do some actual testing YOURSELF and fix the most important thing for a beginner in ANY COMPLEX GAME before you do anything else on this game.

Hope developers polish the tutorial, it has a lot of small bugs. Good tutorials are key for new players not to hit bad reviews.

A very good point.
They realy should take the time now to solve the bugs before pushing out.
I have this game now for long time, and i had fun, but i also palyed silent hunter 3 from release. I also had fun with this game and the game is worth the money.
I like to playing this on hard, but starting a new game and also get stucked by this bug at the beginning in tutorial kills my will to testart and play this game.
Somehow it started the first tutorial mission twice at the same time in one game and stucked.

Also if you play navigation tutorial in skipper mode you are forced by tutorial to increase throttle of engines when you are off board and because of that game bugs out and your camera floats in place of boat but it reality it went off to the sea

So far i've faced 2 softlock bugs in the tutorial, and i found out that they were caused by me performing a task too early rather than waiting for the prompt from the guide

I didn't face the loading torpedo bug though. I did it exactly as described by the guide

Its a beta test YES DOH there will be bugs and you must have switched to beta test which says it all . Just report it move on .

I loaded only 1 torpedo on the first mission and had plenty on the next tutorial mission.

Problem is the game has way too many bugs tobe even call beta. Its early pre alpha.

This happened to me also I waited about 15mins while I was cooking in my kitchen but it didn't proceed anywhere.

i can vet the torpedo loading bug played till i could not shoot the torps the stopped

The third Tutorial made me stuck on my boat. I played in captains mode. So 1st person only. back in the harbour the prompt wants me to talk to my officer so i cant interact with anything but him. even with ladders.

Starting a new game, on a different boat, it crapped out on me on the second tutorial mission after being told to right clicke on the mission marker and fast forward to the destination. The boat simply decided to faceplant into a wall not even in the way of the route... This worked better before the "beta"
