into the path bar of the explorer and hit enter. From there you can navigate to the correct folder. Appdata is by default hidden so you have to do it via the path variable.
Also the game saves are in the same appdata sub path. The files you mentioned in the steam installation folder are actually the mod files of all the mods you have (or even ever had) installed. If you delete all these you'll force the game to load all the files from the Internet again.
I tried that, but only one step closer.
I cant find any file for 'DeepWaterStudio' (or LocalLow), not with 'File Explorer' anyway. But the game is still working OK.
You're going to be hard pressed to find someone willing to walk you through the basics of navigating the Windows filesystem...
%appdata%\..\locallow
Copy/pasting that path will take him directly there as well.
%appdata%\..\locallow\Deep Water Studio
Yeah it takes me to 'roaming' ok but from there, no sign of any \locallow\ or \deepWaterStudio\.
Even if I 'run' ether one, it tells me 'Windows can't find the file/s'.
Or just searching my files.
my ONLY route I can find to the game files is the \SteamApps\ route.
Just me then.
Looking like an install problem maybe.
Looks like a "re install".
Thanks Anyway.
Just use the link from Wrath of the north to directly get there.
%appdata%/../locallow
Copy/paste that to the path bar with all % and points and whatever. If there isn't a folder called 'Deep Water Studio' in there something is wrong with your installation anyways.
Thanks for showing me where the side gate is.
Cheers.
