Dear friends, when will this model be fully reproduced?

The devs said the type 21 will maybe be added post-release as DLC. No idea when.

I would strongly prefer the Type IX, which was the second most common and impactful type. I understand why the XXI is popular with people, but does everyone actually get they never saw service in WW2?

Type XXI saw service and did few patrols,
But it was ready for combat too late.
For me Fantasy is Type XXVI, type XXI is just late-war sub.

Yeah two did went out in... March 1945 to patrol. They didn't even saw combat. The Type XXI did not really saw service on a large scale, not even small. Its impact on the war itself bny the type 21 egligible.

The type 21 is, for me personally, overrated when it comes to the war itself. It had a far greater impact on post-war designs but did next to nothing during the war. Hence why I will not buy the future type 21 dlc.

I look forward to the “realistic type XXI mod” which lowers it’s performance to actual recorded levels rather than the intended ones which weren’t reached

Still buzzing for it and will buy it

To each their own i love the type xxi for what it was but ill be buying both DLCs just to support deep water studios

Not everything has to be accurate and it'd be fun to have a all underwater submarine

Repeat after me: this is a game.

Oh, by the way, even if scenarios in historical war games happened.. the events that you play aren't accurate because... they're games. Or does not "everyone actually get" this?

Some people play this GAME aspiring to re create historical limitations and scenarios not everyone would enjoy a arcady submarine game, thats why the devs have said time and time again they will make sure the game is accesible and fun for everyone.

Some play with real navigation because they enjoy it, others download a unlimited torpedo mod.
People are diverse and so are their entertainment preferences.

none the less ill be looking forward to a all underwater submarine
