When I go to the UBOAT folder, i don't see the option for Crashes

- Update your video card drivers, current version is 536.23, your version is 528.24.
- Make sure you have all the latest updates for Windows (including optional updates). Some optional updates may include a patch for .NET framework which is essential for running Uboat.
- Completely delete the UBOAT folder under AppData and validate your game files as instructed above
- Make sure all other programs are closed in your Windows task tray. In the past, some applications, especially "ram booster" software has been known to cause issues with Uboat such as Razer Cortex. I don't know why.
- Make sure to add Uboat and the Uboat launcher to your list of exceptions for Windows Defender or any third-party AV software that you're running.
- Double, triple check that the in-game Steam overlay is disabled. You can find it under Steam settings > In Game > Steam Overlay
I'll be going to bed soon but I hope at least one of those suggestions helps. It is working now, what i noticed was i had the latest driver update, but in the log it said i had an old one. I did add an exception to the uboat folder on windows defender and i installed the latest framework from the microsoft webpage. Thanks alot.

Litigious1 / Coffee Time / Mr Bear is someone with a bit of a history. He would constantly complain about 'overheating' issues but refused to share an output log or cooperate with others who were attempting to help. The more you tried to help, the more toxic and abrasive he would get.
He's attempted to delete many of his past comments on the forums to try and sweep his past behavior under the rug but you can still find his comments in my post history as quote-replies. Thank goodness for that.
The most we were ever able to get out of him was that he believes anything above 50° C is "cooking" his GPU, he uses Linux and cools his PC with "honeywell" machines, whatever that means.
He's been fairly quiet for the past couple of months but now and then you will sometimes find him jumping into threads like this one where someone is trying to trying to get help for a problem only for him to call the game a scam and encourage the original poster to refund the game as soon as possible.
I'm honestly surprised he hasn't been banned yet for derailing threads when players are actively seeking help for an issue.
