That is a problem.. I am left handed. Is there no mapping for that?? Or, when without mapping, why do they not use the movement or gunnery movement mappings instead using WASD specificly?
Ah, those are arrows above and below the water bar. I did not recognize them as buttons, thanks!
So at least I can operate that thing now by dragging it with the mouse.. which is painfully slow :/
The periscopes start out in the ship until you raise them.
**edit**
And its the same for the binoculars on deck and the personal binoculars.. what a pain :/
In the 'periscope' section of the keybindings there are also controls for the horizontal and vertical alignment of the periscope. I got used to always hit both buttons whenever I switch to periscope view as it happens fairly often that the periscope is pointed to random directions when you take over.
Also there is a little height control keybinds with IIRC , . (comma and period)
Thats not the master periscope up but a fine tune.
In general when you take the boat to at or near periscope depth and an officer is at it then it should be viewable. If confused hit V. Then if you wish use the , . to tweak for the waves.
When manning the periscope view using the height control you can see it go up and down on a vertical picture. the waves in that picture are the wave affects going on. So you can chose to be clear of higher waves or hugging closer to the troughs. You looking view will change according to the waves covering the sight.
