The future after U-boat...??
Do the Dev's have any plans to develop the pacific theatre?, US vs Japan and maybe the german campaign however limited it was in the pacific region.?

would be nice to have something in competition with SH4, which is Ancient now :)

I haven't heard anything. That's definitely a long way off, if it will ever be a thing. I'm sure after the game is complete, modders could add this without issues. Right now after the game is complete, I'd rather they include further DLC for Uboat before going off in another direction.

Yup, let's focus on a roadmap for now but thank you that you guys want something more :)

i'd love to have options in submarines / factions, particularly some of the big japanese boats.. where is the roadmap tho? i have been holding off on buying the game since i fear getting bored with only one choice of nation/boat

It's in the news section. You'll have to sift through it a little bit, it's from a few months ago.

I sure hope not. The pacific theater is just boring.

I like to see the dev's complete uboat and mabe add the type ix and type xxi and type xxix and the british T class submarine,

Befor doing a pacific theatre with tambor/gato/balao/tench class and the japanese type C class and I-201 class.

I definitely hope for more gameplay depth and polishing before things like the pacific theatre become a focus (if that ever happens at all). I'm not convinced that it would actually add that much to the game. It sounds like a lot of work for little more than an optical overhaul.

For me Uboat is pretty much it's own sub-genre. If the game engine for Uboat is up for it, I could easily see other projects with a similar gameplay mix.
Of course, I'm well aware that any plans in that direction would be waaay off into the future, but the gameplay mix in Uboat could work just as well for other historic vessels like ships or potentially airships.

There's already a game like that coming out. Well, sort of.
