Report a translation problem
IMO the latter is the best variant; 2 hours are obviously too little, but the TV-series has issues with pacing. Its too bloated and the break between the episodes is a bit artificial.
Now I will want ot search the interwebs for those 6 hours :)
Look for "Shogun" from the 80s, its nearly 9 hours long and its only so "short" because a taifun destroyed the movie set village
The book is fun as well - its long but reads quickly
I'm sure you can find the same version on whatever language version of amazon you prefer.
Yes i saw this one on TV as a kid, do anyone cnow if you still can find this version, hopefully on DVD?
