Is enigma broken?

First time: i arrived at the point and saw 2 warship hunting a submarine and they were leaving the area so i putted my uboat on the green marker but i was unable to send the diver because there was nothing under my uboot, so i sunk the 2 warship and checked they wreck but no enigma was found

Second time: same as before but i sunk the ship first and no changes

third time: abort mission

How can i do this mission?

New savegame no mods

U can do this mission but sometimes the Wreck don‘t spawn. Try to start a new game, I guess there is a general loading bug at the moment.

Just played that mission. I rescued the sailors , but no enigma was found. Looked on my world map and had a green dot on my home port. Returned to bass and mission complete. I guess one of the survivors had the enigma with him

Well I did it on Preview 2 and latest preview 3.
You need to go to the objective on map. There you will find 2 enemy ships. Sink the ships and approach the wreck until the button in upper part of screen, which allows to report sunken enemies and allows send delegations to neutral ships, will allow (white text) to send a diver (no red text saying you are too far or anything else). Then press button, appoint a crew member, give him diving suit and proceed next. Dunno how variable this mission is, but both times I had identical text on screen - try main hatch, its blocked, got to rear, find alive radioman and assistant, go back to main and open it. Opening of main hatch even with time compression takes few minutes and when they are aboard your boat, objective changes from /Send diver/ to /Return to port/.
There are no activity with Enigma itself, rescued sailors must have it with them, and mission is completed after they are on your boat.

The only wrecks that i have are the two of the warship...i try with a new game

If you look at right side of screen where various square notifications are shown, the detection info should say 3 boats - 2 warships and as special objective - sunken uboat. It actually visible on map, if not too much zoom in.

I have just the 2 warship wrecks and the green dot. Right under the green dot is nothing.
I scraped the ground below the dot. Nothing.
I guess it just doesn't spawn in all the time.

trust me if i tell you that ive tried 9 times and at the 10 it spawned, you have to sunk the ship possibly without been spotted

Normally the missions should be fixed in p3 with starting a new game. If not, try to reproduce the bug and send a report :)

So I can try 10 times... OR I wait for the patch. I've got time. :)

Nope I sunk both ships without being spotted and the uboat wreck isnt there. It is not showing up on the detection. Also I traveled away quite a bit and came back and it still wasn't there. And at the same time I keep receiving messages from "Foxhound" that I cannot read because it is blank.

Hi,

Press F11 to send the savegame to the devs if the sunken u-boat is not near at the green dot or if you dive to the sunken destroyer/corvette.

The devs will look at it. Thanks!

I completed the mission but I didn't get the reward and it's still available from the Leading Officer in port.
