Deleting the Data Cache
Not having a problem but I like to know how things work and have seen posts on when you should try deleting the Data Sheets, cache and temp folders to resolve problems.
Looking in them I see file related to mods I currently use or have used and was wondering what the impact would be should I delete those folders.
Would I have to start a new game or could I just load up a save file and continue?
Thanks for any information and replies.

If you get no replies, you can save the folders before you delete them, then test, and eventually load tham back if it doesn't work.

Good Idea, might just try that. Cheers.

Don’t Delete the Data Sheets in the Program Files (x86) Directory.

Only the ones in the
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBoat - directory.
That Directory will contain the
Cache Folder
Data Sheets Folder
Temp Folder.

As Davinci said. Those are the only three folders you need to delete under AppData.

Mods and prefetch data get saved to those three folders. It is recommended to delete those folders whenever the game updates to a new preview patch or main match. As well as whenever you disable mods as the mod data will still be left behind in those folders.

The game will automatically populate those folders again when you start a new game.
