After picking a boat, you get the option windows, check for "Hardcore aiming". Remove the tick and automatic aim is restored.
Cheers. I was really hoping not to get this response.
Best of luck.

Change the false to true.
Save File.
Thanks but I've already restarted. Playing the unstable version and I'm wondering why my hydrophone guy won't/can't make targeting solutions. Doesn't even ID individual craft; only general locations of roughly 5 or 10km. His little icon has a small 2 on it, so I'm very confused.

The phone doesnt really give targeting data until youre close enough to start being able to discern individual ships, at many kilomters away, you just get "Theres a ship/ground of ships somewhere in this general direction"
A moment ago, I had 3 corvettes hunting me after 1 detected me. However, I didn't know there were 3 of them all directly above me until I rose to a depth of 6m to take a look. I also didn't know they were all busy trying to depth charge me. Somehow they were all within 200m of me they were all dropping bombs on me, and my hydrophone operator didn't hear any of it. Maybe he's deaf?
