Lost Skipper

Klaus Graf the starting skipper died,i returned to port and promoted another from officers.Took new mission and completed it,then returned to port again and now it say's : You can't undock without skipper... But i have skipper on board.

I have it Watch Officer(also white skipper hat near profile name),i already did one mission with him.I can't even promote new officer to skipper because game thinks i have skipper and button is unresponsive ,engine control is grey can't change gears,under it says You can't undock without skipper promote one of your officer to skipper.

You can only promote a sailor to officer status. If you don't have a bug then I would have promoted a sailor to Leader status to meet requirement. It appears that you have one reputation point to spend. The game starts with one promotion available but you have to build up reputation points to use it. My Leaders are always wearing helmets while on duty.

No. You can always promote a Leader offc. to a Sjkipper, if the skipper has died. No rep points are needed.

It seems to be a different problem. Therefore, the SG should be sent to the Devs

I'm stuck in dock, I have a skipper but it's telling me I have to promote a skipper to leave the docs. Last time this happened I had to drown him and kill him to undock.

Figured a way, just fast travel to a point.

For some reason my skipper is now invisible. His avatar no longer appears in the assignment bars, nor does he in the boat or in animations.

Edit: Hmm... now the skipper's uniform appears, but not his face or hands. I look at his empty clothes during medal presentations.

Happened me last night , save then reload solved the problem 👍
