So I am not off here right? First time since playing I saw a battleship but I am assuming that you radio it in and it should show in your logs?
To be specific I hit her till she bellied up then snuck around the searching escort and put another spread into her to sink her and watched the ship sink and become a wreckage listing on contacts.
UPDATE: Reloading an approach attack on the Battleship I was able to report it now. I did have the radio operator clear an incoming secondary objective for the mission just before my final kill shots hit. Also on the reload the ship went from belly up to righted and dead in the water, odd.
send a savegame with F11 to the devs.
Cheers Ruby
So it was not a matter of misunderstanding game mechanics, the game simply did not register the kill even though the ship sunk on the first go.
