My mission is to reach the port of Bergen but it is impossbile because I can't reach it because the sea near the port is everywhere really undeep and my boat always get stuck. What now? :(

All people have the same problem. Next time do not change your base to that port but for now try going at full speed. Your U-boat will bounce around like crazy but will slowly go forward :)

my base is not at that port but I need to reach it for a mission. But they say I need to travel there and report to the new leading officer. The devs need to fix this really. this is absurd. is there a way to take another mission?

And this mission makes Bergen to your new home base

Oh, terrible. Is Port of Kiel the same problem? Oh, no, I figured out now that Leo Lorris, the torpedo loader is stuck and he doesn't want to move any more. Rip my torpedo's. I can't warom them up because the crew doesn't move.

You can get there but need to zoom in and you will see the sand bars then find the channels and only approach from the southern end. If you do get stuck ahead full off of it. But I have yet to get stuck approaching from the south.

So you need to set a course into a channel?

yea, manually set waypoints and as your adding a waypoint (top right) you can see the current mouse positions depth. Second section just above map coordinates. Just keep to a sensible depth minimum like 25m maybe

Yeah and if your waypoint lines are red‚ then it is too undeep right?
there are in fact some routes you can take, but have to keep your eyes closely to the map... it shows where it´s too shallow... i just was too stupid and took a "shortcut" close to Bergen and got stuck, but that was my fault...

The game is good but there is a lot of work needed.

There is a route between the straits through which you can get to Bergen ..

That deep information on the map is not correct. It says I am at a depth of -2 meters. But my echosounder saids I am at 11 depth. And why the depth indication on the map is sometimes negative like -2 meters and somtimes 2 metres? 2 metres depth is 2 meters. I don't understand
i don´t go after the indicator, but after the actual SHOWN topographics... take a look at the map itself (zoomd in as much as possible) and you can actually SEE where you shouldn´t go ;)

My guess is, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up sth with their calculation. In case you are not aware, there is a chart datum for sea maps that is completely different from the reference points we´re using for landmasses. So if the devs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up, no wonder we have such weird depths ingame.
If you look at actual sea maps and compare that to ingame you will realise how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up certain areas are.
Another possibility is, that they mixed up LAT, MLLW and MHHW which would explain certain things also. Not sure how you can mess such things up but well, it is messed up for sure. Mostly in the Northern and Eastern Sea where we have tide. So my guess is, they just added LAT to the map and ignored it for now. But even with tide there should be no problem at all to enter Bergen. It was used by the Hanse back in 1300 hundreds and was pretty much the most important harbour of Norway and still is I think. And it is never that shallow except for extreme tides at certain areas - regarding to nautical maps. Sorry for such an exhausting answer. :)

tl:dr it´s ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Teleport 60.4068 5.2742 will bring you directly into the harbour.
