Heading home after a successful mission I managed to get lost because I sent everyone to bed. Then in time acceleration I managed to run up on a beach. The problem is that my last save was about 3.5 hrs earlier.
Are there any console commands to reset myself back in the ocean since it's apparently going going to get off the beach under it's own power or did I just waste an entire play session?

Use the teleport command.

Teleport [Any Two Numbers] – Teleport you U-boat on entered coordinates, For East long use “-number”.

Thanks for that. Took me a few tries to get it right, but ended up putting myself back in the water and finishing my patrol.
Now if I can just remember to save every 15 seconds I'll be fine. :^)

Happened to me all I did was set rudder straight then max speed in reverse then click 5x speed rocked me off the shallows :)

I tried that at first too. Full reverse, rudder in both directions, rudder straight, time compression and no results. It ended up pivoting around the midships point till the props were up on the beach.
Lucky I left the game running while I waited for an answer on the forum cause the teleport command was the only thing to work for me.
I save a lot more often now.

You can also use Teleport without arguments on the map screen, and it will teleport you to the cursor. I've used it to hop on over to Edinburgh when I was documenting an invisible convoy bug.

It just happened to me and I thought I was fuzucked but I was running my diesels Rear full and then set the time compression to max, thinking it would work itself free...well it didn't but before I gave up and loaded a save...the TIDE came in and I floated and rolled back into the sea!

So if you are not totally beached, wait for the tide!
