Finding Battleships
If a mission intel description says a Battleship has been reported in a zone, and that zone is the one encompassing Ireland/West Coast of England, where am I most likely to find a Battleship to slay in that area? Have been cruising between Ireland and Liverpool/Wales awhile, dipping down to Hydro-check and no sightings yet. Storming and quite foggy though.

I found one really near to the west coast of ireland. Very shallow sea, only periscope depth possible.

For the first time I found an escort carrier as well in a random massive convoy heading west to east in AN I believe it was. So many escorts it was insane to sneak up on her alternating depths, speed, air filters when a ship was not right on me (then off as they would hear it and start converging), and around 5 depth charge attacks that I dodge.

Caught in video when I got within 1km and she turned her side to me, 4 torpedoes (10m dispersion, 1.5m depth) and down she went. Was awesome.

Battleships and Carriers by default only sail in Convoys, not Transports.
You can read out the waypoints from the data sheets or visit the places where you encountered the convoy before.

All shipping lines go from port to port - so near ports you are bound to find convoys and transports :-)

If you want to cheat a bit you can type "Detect All" in the CLI when in map mode
