Hey Guys!

It seems that the game might have problem with refresh rates/framerate higher that 60 Hz/FPS.

If you are experiencing constant crashes then please try lowering refresh rate of your monitor or your framerate to 60 FPS/60Hz.

You can lower your max framerate in programs like MSI Afterburner/RivaTunerStatisticsServer.
Or just lowering refresh rate in your graphics card settings.


We are currenlty working hard on those pesky CTDs!

Freesync option also may interfere with the game's stability. Try disabling it and get us know if it helped!

For anyone trying to run this game with 8GB of RAM or less, especially older RAM like DDR3 1600mhz, try increasing the size of your pagefile.sys to something like 20GB. Apparently this works for some people.

This is a Unity engine problem, not one of the game itself. I know it from BattleTech which uses the same engine. The BattleTech devs were able to optimize the game after a few months to reduce the RAM load...a few months after full release that is. That this problem is now already discovered during Early Access is actually a good thing.

UPDATE #4
There might be some issues if it goes to AMD and Freesync technology. It may be not triggering properly. If you are having issues with the game stability, then try launching it the following parameters:

-window-mode exclusive

To do it: Go to game's properties on Steam, click on 'Set Launch Options and type in the command.

- In game menu select windowed mode and your native resolution

- set launch parameter in steam -popupwindow

I have been experiencing a CTD every time I try to load my last save.

Update#3 works for me. I use 16Gb RAM DDR3 1600MHZ and before I run all games without pagefile.sys.
In task manager Uboat.exe uses about 4.6 GB RAM...
I dont understand why CTD is happening.

-Changing max fps to below 60 and disabling other "helping" stuff in the raedeon options helped me with the tower 1 freeze and some other upgrade issues, but im right now in kiel and the same freeze happend with the tower 2 upgrade.
(i am in the menue of the supply and upgrade merkant and i cant exit it)

-Also noticed that i could spend my points for the extra research slot but It didnt show me which i have upgraded yet. (Could also use the same engineer for both researches, but i guess thats not important now)

-when the snorkel is folded in, there is still smoke coming out. The smoke is sometimes even bugging through the subs central when watching in sideview

Great work, patch 118 and the lower max fps made it playable and enyoable for me!
