Can I also ask where is the indication of how much compressed air I have? The compressed air gauge near the valves doesn't seem to be working? Or is is just disabled in the tutorial?
Solution: turn on power in stern...click red lighting bolt
First off instead of repairing the aft leak asap i shut the hatch and let the room flood. Then i lacked the air to open the ballast tanks. This is one of the missions where the tutorial wont hold your hand for every action. The issue is I ran out of compressed air so could not surface. If you took ages to do the right thing like me:
Step 1: grab breathing apparatus with the officer who has the repair parts from the compartment where you equipped the diving gear.
Step 2: open the flooded compartments and repair the leak.
Step 3: get your other officer and assign 2 crew to help out, start transferring water to the control room from the flooded compartments (do not try dragging water to the backpack, use the control room tab on the right after you click on the water and the 2 assigned crew will start the job). When the repair is done assign 2 crew members to the repair guy and start gathering water from other compartments and get it to the control room bilges.
Step 3 when water level is low enough in the aft torpedo room switch on the electric air compressor, you will then see the quantity of the compressed air start to increase..(lower to mid right of the screen shows the %) When its high enough blow the ballast and you will see the sub start to rise.
Sadly I lost 4 guys in the torpedo room due to air quality being bad as I was figuring it all out and trying to get as much water out as possible... failed the tutorial IMO LOL!
Not good enough, restarting it :D
