up/down periscope?

If your talking about putting the attack periscope up/down.
1. Assign an officer to that job.
2. Once your officer gets there, there should be an option at the top left of your screen to raise/lower the attack periscope. (make sure you click on the officer that is currently at the attack periscope for it to pop up in the top left)

I do believe there is a similar option for the observational periscope, but i've never noticed.

This image shows all 6 buttons (3 for each scope) you need to know...
The two tiny buttons indicated are for basic up/down operation..
The hide button is a one click function bringing the scope all the way down..

@maxim thanks for the images, i knew about the up/down periscope, but not the two other buttons where we can hide hide scopes.

Its an issue that I am not sure how to fix either. You can go back and forth between the map and character fine but as you said when you switch it lowers again.
