attack Periscope device disabled

I do not get it I cannot activate the attack periscope
do I have to be under attack or attacking
I click on the leader and nothing comes up I don't even know how it got disabled
this is really frustrating can't seem to find anything to help me with this

or am i just BUGGED out

is he working it and you're not getting contacts? If so, check the "hide periscope" button in the top left when he's selected that's next to the "scan all contacts" one. Captain doesn't have to be the user of it either, it's just one of his default jobs.

not on it at all did a mission with out it was disabled be for i got to my mission did not come in any any contact beforehand... an i just dont see that option in the top left do I need to see targets to get this option, when I use the observation periscope I see the option to hide that one

Could be a bug, it is early access. Try manually assigning someone to it with the right click menu.

I guess I will even the conning tower lights are off I have just noticed I've started a new one seeing if there is any difference

did you accidentally shut off power in the conning tower by clicking the lightning bolt icon that fades at not far from the right zoom for it?

I'm using B128 beta preview 3 and have the same issue. If you hold down the alt key you can see a switch for the "power - conning tower" but there's no way to change it or see it's position. Several other things are bugged out after the labrador weather station mission as well, like ships being invisible Going to port doesn't fix it. Trying to continue on without the attack periscope.
