Unstoppable leak?
Got bombed by an aircraft, because i have storm troopers for gunners, and although all leaks were fixed and plugged the sub did not stop filling with water. Bug? or some other mechanic at work?... this has happened multiple times

Possibly both, but make sure your main mechanic has a breathing tool to fix holes underwater and then it should appear in the list of things to repair just to be sure

Sounds like a bug, unless you are missing something. What depth are you at? How many compartments are flooded? Were your crew carrying water to the pump and was the pump on? I have noticed that sometimes the icon for a leak on the sub is hard to see, however if you press tab or look in the right hand lower corner of the screen it will show there.

All mechanics had breathing tools. Depth, started at surfaced and ended up at about 30m under on the seabed. only holes were in bow torpedo room. bulkhead sealed, leaks fixed, pump on etc, yet all compartments slowly flooded. conning tower hatch was also sealed shut.

It could be that you took on to much water and that your bouncy became negative pushing you down where pressure took over. However i have been in that same situation and a flooded sealed bow torpedo room should not sink the sub. As long as the pump is on and you have a good proportion of the crew bailing the other compartments you should be fine.

I agree. had all this happening, leaks were fixed and still sunk. I dont think pressure at 30m was going to do much haha.
Pump will work slower and slower the deeper you are. At a surtain depth the pump will only manage to pump water from the bilge and not other compartments. The other compartments has to be emptied manually by crew by moving water to the bilge with buckets.

Okay.....SO to clarify here.....I was ON THE SURFACE.....got bombed....Fixed all leaks BEFORE going under the water....But the sub kept filling with water despite having the leaks plugged.... unless I am missing something, this is most likely a bug

Yep, i think you are right, my guess is an invisible leak or maybe the bulkhead door was glitched and water was coming from the sealed room. I have had a few deaths where i thought i was on top of it but then she still went down. Don't spose you have a save from after the bombing so you can test it?

no previous save for that boat :(
