Decrypting messages?
I have received a message that seems to be encrypted it tells me. Is this a future feature or how do I accomplish this?

Some intercepted messages are encrypted and there's nothing you can do about it at the moment. In my last patrols these message were mostly sent by warships/escorts so for me this is a telltale sign that enemy warships are nearby.

Ahhhh, gotcha so it was an intercept and I simply did not read it close enough to see that. Makes sense, it was after I sunk an corvette so he probably sent an message out or a ship was contacting him.

Love this game, can't wait to see it fully released.

radio intercepction the allies did i t to the axis, the axis did it to the alies its neat
they now let us do it but it also might mean the ai can do the same when we send sunk reports.....so caution is advised

I don‘t know if the AI is already doing this as well but I hope that the allies will use the Huff-Duff to triangulate my position.

With good reason. They CAN track you from your radio transmissions.

Send a few Sink Reports and soon enough you're going to get either Masts over the horizon! Followed by WARSHIPS! Or Contrail! Followed by AIRCRAFT!! If you don't scoot.

Though things have recently been changed a bit (Most Freighters no longer have a radio at the start of the game, but more and more of them will as the war progresses) Those that do can and will send SSS and SOS if they spot you or are attacked, and their smoke can be seen from up to 80 Km away, and explosions are now heard from 32 Km, so EVERYBODY knows that something just went down, and they're going to tell their friends about it.
