The lag in this game is ridiculous

I run American Truck Simulator on Ultra and it’s all good, I run this game on low and it lags like crazy. It’s not unplayable, but it’s very annoying.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

My 3080 runs this at 35fps with drops to 29 and I dont understand it lol. No other game does this for me.

beside 1080 ti was more than enough for this game

same. It lags and stutters like no other game I have. Seems to be worse when menus are open. Too bad it's been abandoned.

I had the same problem until I turned most of the graphics settings down. IIRC, disabling V-sync in particular helped me a lot. HTH.

good to know.... I noticed the AI traffic has a lot of negative effect on lag
