Problem with Framerate
Hi everyone, I'm trying to play since yesterday in my i7 7700HQ + GTX1060 laptop, but the game, even on low settings (even downscaling the resolution!) has laggy framerate and is really unstable.

Is anyone experiencing something similar? Or knows how to fix it? BTW, i'm playing fullscreen.

Thanks.

that is maybe related to vsync. check out the "no vsync off option" thread.

So I've got stutter in fullscreen mode and fixed it. I've tested this method and it works.

Step 1:

Go to <steamdir>\steamapps\common\MARVEL VS CAPCOM INFINITE\MVCI\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and search for the Engine.ini file.
Open it and add these lines at the end:
[SystemSettings]
r.VSync=0

Save the settings.

Step 2:

To stop the screen tearing now that vsync is off you must go to your nvidia control panel. Find the mvc:I exe and change the setting for vsync to on. Don't forget to apply these changes!

Done! Enjoy the game guys! It's Mahvel, Baby! Special thanks to the users Moonmadness and Nurse Joy

Perfect, thanks so much. It runs perfect 60FPS, BUT! only when connected to power haha, damn laptops. Anyway, thanks so much. I'll mess with the power saving options later.

Thanks mate!

I had the same laggy fullscreen issue and using this method solved almost everything but the tearing effect (i still can notice it from time to time despite forcing it in my nvidia panel for the game exe).
