MvC:I does not launch
Windows 10, When clicking start, it will say running then sync real quick then nothing happens after that. No error code or anything. Looked all over and seems like no one has found a solution. I took all the steps taken in the bug reporting thread. Added to firewall exceptions, updated all drivers, run as admin, uninstalled, reinstalled, verify game files. No joy.
I feel like PC gets zero support from Capcom...
Any help is appreciated.

Same here. Added MvC files to antivirus whitelist, ran as administrator, uninstalled/re-installed, still nothing. Says running then sync real quick like yours. Did you find a solution?

SOLVED! I disabled every function on my anti-virus. I'm using Bit Defender. Turned off all of the protection features. Never had this problem with any game. Thanks Capcom ;)

Hey, I have bitdefender as well. To fix this, you actually need to add the mvci binary64 or something executable file to the advanced threat defense whitelist

I had the same issue now because of corrupt cloud cache. Try the following:

1. Launch Steam, then select View > Settings > Cloud and uncheck “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for applications which support it”

2. Delete/move files from ..\Steam\userdata\[userid]\493840\ folder

3. Start MVCI from Steam

Let me know if it worked.
