I never understood people playing fighting games on a keyboard.
I'm not playing it on a keyboard though. I built out a full cabinet with proper fight stick button layout. The inputs are just mapped to keyboard.
A high quality i.e. mechanical keyboard is basically the same as a hitbox. You can even get arcade buttons that contain Cherry MX switches.
Edit: Fixed my problem. I just had to enable generic controller support in the steam big picture configs.
Honestly though you can play a FG with any controller you please, though on a controller you would want to "macro" certain things such as the 2 buttons airdash as it can be tricky to press on a controller. That said there are a TON of amazing players on standard controllers playing very execution heavy games.
As for spider-man mission 3 you can press start and and watch a demonstration, it'll show you how it's done, you can get clues to the timing and such.
I've been using this :( I can perform everything upto the web sling but no matter how many times I try, it doesn't seem to give me enough time to pull off the final move.
