PC Fighting Games now have more players than Console

While I would recommend saving your money and buying DBFZ, if you are going to buy MVCI then here are the FACTS about PC vs Console.

Don't listen to the lies of buying this on consoles.

Consoles online costs $10 USD a month or suck it up bite the bullet and spend $60 USD upfront just to access online it is a scam a downright scam to pay for internet twice.

The PC Playerbase is where the real hardcore fans are at, for example PC has much less input delay giving you an advantage in execution and combos where you cannot get on consoles.

PC playerbase for MKXL is currently the same size as PS4

PC Playerbase for MKXL is currently way bigger than Xbox One.

Guilti Gear Rev 2 has 3 times more players on PC than it does on PS4 and PS3 combined.

Skull Girls way more players on PC online

USF4 way more players on PC Online.

PC has a far greater number of its fighting game players using LAN Cable as opposed to WIFI warriors on consoles and lag switches.

Console is plagued with lag switch cheaters.

So again don't listen to uninformed liars who keep parroting nonsense from the 2008 era. Get the PC version and did I mention MODS? yup its a no brainer

I usually got fighting games for PS4, but this is the first one I am getting for PC. Primary reason? Tekken 7. It isn't unplayable on PS4, but those load times are bad. It does seem like more are playing on PC these days. Some top fighting game streamers use PC, which probably has helped.

Thats exactly what happened with Tekken 7, the game is completely and utterly objectively better on PC compared to consoles (1 frame less of input lag *4 frames less if you turn Vsync off, mods, much better graphics, much faster loading times, online has proven to be better and it didnt help that PS4 suffered some real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking issues the first few weeks) and many top players pointed it out and switched to PC, and many high level players, not so high level and even newbies have done so as well. Even since day 1 the majority of streams on Twitch you will see are from PC users. Unlike most fighting games the only advantage on PC was really graphics, mods, free online, and the ability to use any controller, and clearly those arent big enough reasons to switch to PC according to the community plus terrible ports from 2012 and below gave Fgs on PCs a bad name. But every FG on PC from 2013 and foward minus MKX has been beautifully done and some games not even being ports like sfv and tekken

Wasn't DoA 5 worse than MKX technically? If I recall not only did that PC port have less stages and no SoftEngine effects but also bad netcode and other issues which were never fixed, whereas MKX at least got some fixes to it's problems.

I'm more surprised people don't remember about it. People always say "here's a joke, MKX on PC" when DoA5 was the real joke all along (mainly because MKX got actual fixes later, not perfect but still not DoA5).

I'm more surprised people don't remember about it. People always say "here's a joke, MKX on PC" when DoA5 was the real joke all along (mainly because MKX got actual fixes later, not perfect but still not DoA5).

MKX with the fixes are perfect according to reviews but I personally never played it so Idk, if there are inperfections can u tell me? And WORD that game completley slipped my mind, that game is the real joke. Maybe its cuz Doa5 is old. And even on console ppl didnt care about the game

I fixed the quotes, also I don't remember about MKX's fixes on PC but I just assumed the PC port still had some issues here and there in regards to optimization (I moved on to other games after my old PC died, I can't even play MKX on PC right now). I don't really keep tabs on games I can't run, as dumb as that sounds.

I've played guilty gear and I highly doubt it has more players on pc. If it actually "has 3 times more players on PC than it does on PS4 and PS3 combined" i'm worried for the future of that game. Not to mention PC users had to wait about a year to get XRD. lol

MKX was non existant on PC for a year and half for being a terrible port it's the reason steam got off their ass to make steam refunds a thing.

Stop with these stupid platform wars people. Being blinded fan boys won't bring more people to your favorite platform. If you really care for a higher player base start asking for cross play. As far as I know Sony is the only one left not willing to play ball, but they probably would if people actually started annoying them for it.

That too!! So many people are hyping DBFZ cuz its Dragonball Z rather then the fighting game itself. Looking at the games and the stream the game is so barebones its not even funny
