Should I get on PC or console?
I know the game is new and but based on previous fighting game. Would you recommend pc or console?

I'm not worried about graphics but more of which platform will have the most players and last the longest

i'm wondering this too. Pc has been dope for fighting games lately, but the player base always seems to disappear. UMVC3 was aweful on ps but since its tournement standard, people may buy it for it. Also, ps players are notorious for playing online on wifi. Xbox is pretty consistent with fighting games and I rarely feel lag online but I feel like the comp is lower then the other 2 platforms. I may buy it for Xbox then get it for pc when a discount hits.

Depends how popular the game is in the end. PS4 will always have a larger pool of players.

I suggest the console, I imagine the pc version going dead at sme point, if not shortly after launch at it's price. Consoles will always have a larger crowd in that case for a figthing game, regardless of the pricing. It's the safer platform to buy it on, if you intend to play online. Which you do. Plus it's alot harder to cheat on consoles, so there's that on top of more players.

I second this.

Go console for more reliability on player retention/base since the genre has a much larger crowd on consoles.

Don't listen to the lies of buying this on consoles.

The PC Playerbase is where the real hardcore fans are at, for example PC has much less input delay giving you an advantage in execution and combos where you cannot get on consoles.

PC playerbase for MKXL is currently the same size as PS4

PC Playerbase for MKXL is currently way bigger than Xbox One.

PC has a far greater number of its fighting game players using LAN Cable as opposed to WIFI warriors on consoles and lag switches.

Console is plagued with lag switch cheaters.

So again don't listen to uninformed liars who keep parroting nonsense from the 2008 era. Get the PC version and did I mention MODS? yup its a no brainer

Yes dont listen to microsofct and sony proapganda who try to convice people to buy their crappy 500 euros machine that has way worse graphics and perfomance than pc by saying that it will have more people on console. YesMKXL SF5 and Tekken 7 pc version have way bigger player base than ps4 and xbox one. Consoels are dying. More and more console gamers each day are buying gaming pc's and abandond consoles. Soon no one will be playing on consoles because evryone realizes that only pc can give the ultimate gaming experience. Free online, ability to use whatever controller you want, better graphics ,better framerate, resolutuon e.t.c.!!

I think you will be fine with the PC release. I can still get matches on GGXRD and SF4. I thought about double dipping, but with how expensive DLC is going to be, I decided to choose one platform, unlike I did with SF5. I'm going with PC, I think the playerbase will last for a while, and the idea of mods tipped the scales in PC's favor for me.

Depends on how good and well maintained your PC is.

If it's old, slow hardware that barely meets the requirements and you are running a bunch of bloatware on an old operating system, just get the console version and save yourself a headache

If it's a newer PC with decent hardware, and you have no bloatware installed, and you are using Windows 10 fully patched, go ahead and get it for PC.

And don't forget the PC Playerbase for Guilty GEar Rev2 has like 3 times more players than both PS4 and PS3 combined.

Tekken 7 is compromised on PS4 it doesn't even run at 1080p. LMFAO no wonder the PC Playerbase of Tekken 7 is so massive. Tekken 7 looks like garbage on consoles

I agree buying MVCI on the whole is a waste of money but if he is going to buy it anyways then get it on PC its a no brainer really.

And with the horrible nasty white filter over this game preventing you from properly seeing the screen and tracking your player while he moves you are going to want the PC to install things like Sweet FX mods etc and other mods to fix this horrid graphics

The console versions don't have Denuvo, so go console.

Console versions are probably going to be more populated than on pc so I'd go with the console version
